What's included

  • A custom design for your mobile home page and lower-level templates based on the look and feel of your main website. We'll agree with you on a layout for your mobile home page, and provide a design mockup. We'll make up to three revisions to reach a final version.
  • Any of our mobile modules, with a look and feel based on your mobile home page.
  • Up to 5 additional static second-level pages. By "static" we mean the content is edited manually, not from a database. An example would be your "About Us" page.

What will we need to have for it to work?

  • Our News, Calendar, Photos, and Directory modules require that you have some sort of content management system or database to support them. We'll need you to make your content available in our standard data format (XML or RSS) so that we can display it properly. We advise you on how to do this.
  • Ability to run PHP (version 5 or later) on your server. If this isn't possible, you'll need to set up separate hosting on a server that supports PHP. You can use a subdomain like m.mycompany.com to host your mobile site.
  • You'll need to implement a small bit of code on your home page if you would like it to automatically detect mobile browsers and redirect people to your mobile site. We can show you how to do this.

Which mobile devices will our site support?

  • Your mobile site will work best on any mobile browser that supports the WebKit standard, including:
    Phone Logos
    • iPhone
    • iPodTouch
    • Android
    • Palm webOS
  • Other mobile devices such as the Blackberry have limited support for graphics and layout control (at least for now). Your site will work on these devices, but it will not have the same look and feel as the iPhone or Android. Other mobile devices such as the Blackberry will display a clean presentation of your logo, body text, lists and links.

Can you create a mobile version of our _______ ?

  • Yes! Our mobile modules only include the basic elements that many sites have in common. We've developed several custom mobile web applications. If you would like to create a mobile version of other parts of your site like a product catalog, portfolio, FAQ database or other features, contact us for a quote.
